🌿Bookcation🌿

Seasonal book retreats hosted by Bri's Teas & Things

What it is

A long weekend away for people who need a real break — the kind where you can disappear into a book for hours, sleep in, eat good food, and simply exist without having to be "on."

No performance.

No pressure.

Just space to settle into yourself and breathe.

Bookcation is a small-group experience (10–12 people) held at a private vacation rental, somewhere new each season. Thoughtfully hosted. Quietly unforgettable.

What's included

Almost everything. Lodging, home-cooked meals, a welcome happy hour, and a handful of curated experiences woven throughout the weekend — shaped by the season and the location. Dietary restrictions are always accommodated. Discount opportunities are available for those who help with meals or refer a friend. You handle getting there and back; the rest is taken care of.

The vibe

Think casual sleepover, but make it bookish. There are people around all weekend — and you're welcome to hang out, have long conversations, or share a meal together. You're also welcome to post up in your favorite corner of the house with your book and surface only when you feel like it. Both are completely valid. The first evening includes a welcome happy hour — a soft, low-key way to settle in and get comfortable with the people you'll be spending the weekend with. After that, everything is self-directed.

Headphones in is universal for "I'm in my own world right now" — and that's always respected here.

This is a space for bookish souls who value quiet, breathing room, and being around others who genuinely get it. Open-minded, low-pressure, and welcoming of anyone who needs a place where they can just be.
